there is a stillness of peace that blankets the land in the winter. like a land trapped forever. the eastern mountains of norway hide many a frozen moment in their valleys

The perpetual sunset hovers over Oslo throughout the winter months. it stops feeling romantic somewhere in the middle of january and becomes lonely, there is too much shadow to hide in

some moments never end. i find myself falling deeper and deeper inside of them, for i will not leave them, and they never leave me.

fairies

This photo reminds me of fairy gardens i used to build as a child. i loved imagining tiny worlds for the fairies that they would visit at night, shrouded in magic. Every morning id run outside as soon as i was awake, hopeing to catch a lingering fairy. all i ever saw was tiny worlds i was too big to enter. but i kept checking every morning.

up and back again

up and back again we traipse on the path to where we are heading, forgetting to look around at the alien landscape building around us. head down. foot forward. where have we taken ourselves?
